Scuba Diving Excellence
AWC holds a PADI 5-Star Dive Resort rating, providing certified and beginner-friendly scuba experiences. Their divers benefit from small-group formats and quality training—from Discover Scuba to Dive Master level.
Activities include Discover Scuba Diving (intro), two-tank dives, night diving, and full certification courses, all using full equipment and guided by experienced staff.
The Arusun Catamaran
A highlight of AWC’s offerings is The Arusun, a 60-foot Formula II ocean racing catamaran (designed 1984–85 by Rod Downie) brought to Aruba by “Opa,” the centre’s founder. It now serves guests with sailing and snorkeling adventures along Aruba’s scenic coast.
Safety & Responsibility
While safety remains a top priority at AWC, they also note that guests participate in activities at their own risk. It’s a balanced approach encouraging preparedness and personal responsibility.
