Day 06

Monday, May 15th 2023 is a peaceful day on the sea. The wind was steady at 10 knots and we were traveling northeast at a speed of 7 knots. Our goal is to cover 200 miles a day, so we were hoping for some more wind to help us reach our target. Despite the cold, the crew was doing great and the temperature at night was dropping to 24 degrees Celsius, with the wind chill feeling like minus 18. Today is the day for polishing the stainless steel on the boat and the crew is ready to keep themselves busy with that. We all enjoyed pancakes in the morning and the water around us was a deep, dark blue with no fish in sight. We look forward to another beautiful day and wish everyone a wonderful day.
